A urine sample with show how dehydrated the patient is and will also indicate if there was any kidney damage. 3.The doctor will also perform a physical exam to check signs and symptoms that are visible on the exterior part of your body. Depending on what the doctor observes from the physical exam he will make a decision whether a rectory exam is necessary. This test is done by inserting and gloved finger gently into the rectum. This test will assure there are no breaks in the rectal wall. A sample of stool is taken to detect if blood or mucus is contained in the stool. The laboratory will receive the results that will then indicate which toxins caused the illness. 4. There are various signs and symptoms you may like to consider. However theses signs and symptoms are very similar to those of other illnesses. If the person experiences these signs and symptoms for more than 24 hours, it is advised that the person seeks medical assistance. |
